In mid-May we’re planning on taking a week off work on vacation.
We’re going away and the property we’re renting has no internet access, which means no blogging.
This is probably a good thing as I think it’s a good idea sometimes to switch off completely work and anything vaguely associated with it.
In the past when I’ve gone away I’ve left the blog with a few timed posts, set to go live while I’m away. But this time I thought it’d be a good idea to invite my readers to think about contributing a guest post.
If you’re already blogging, writing a guest post for my blog while I’m away will be a good way to raise your profile among my audience and hopefully attract some more traffic or subscribers to your own blog.
If you’re not already blogging then writing a guest post for my blog could be a good way to test out blogging for yourself without having to set up your own blog.
My blog typically covers marketing, public relations, digital marketing and social media – so ideally I’d like guest posts to be about one of those topics, but I have an open mind as I’ve never done this before.
If you’d like to guest blog here in May then drop me a line at simon@simonwakeman.com or post a comment here.
