Redesigned website goes live

SimonGeneral12 Comments

It’s been a busy few evenings as I’ve been working hard to get my new website design live.

You can now see it in all its glory at

I wanted to clean up the old design and increase the use of colour. I hope you like it. There are still a few minor display gremlins, but everything should be working as normal.

I’d like to say thanks very much to Andy Wake at Don’t Panic Projects for his help with developing the design and colour scheme – I’m a pretty poor designer so Andy has to take a lot of the credit for how the site now looks.

If you spot anything untoward please do leave me a comment or drop me a line.

Normal blog service will now be resumed!

  1. Thanks Stephen – it’s all running using Wordress, although the homepage uses a plug-in to display a non-blog page instead of the usual blog homepage.

  2. Hey – good job. Looks very smart indeed. White space is the new blog rock’n’roll.

You’re quite right about WP 2.1 supporting landing pages natively. I’m using that feature for the site I’m making for our summer conference.

  3. Ian – thanks for that – glad the work was worth it

Nick – thanks too – normal service hopefully resumed next week; arrival of baby and TalkTalk broadband connection problems permitting!
