Where did it go?

Where did it go?

Regulars around these parts will recognise there hasn’t exactly been a dearth of posts on this blog recently. It has been more than a month since I last posted and I can’t believe where the time has gone.
So what’s going on? Well, life has been pretty hectic on all fronts really.
At work life is busier than ever with a lot happening on all fronts, but without fail more to do than be fitted into office hours. As ever the breadth and range of challenges never ceases to surprise me and I’m learning lots every day.
At home we’ve moved house so there has been a lot of lifting, shifting, painting and fixing. Our friendly builders are still occupying most of the downstairs of our house and there seems like an ever growing list of jobs to do (and bills to pay!).
I’ve also spent a fair few evenings in the past three weeks writing my Public Relations Handbook chapter on public sector PR too.
So all in all I’m afraid blogging has taken a bit of a back seat.
That’s a shame really as every day I spot something interesting happening that I mentally compose a blog post about, but then never get time to sit down at the laptop and actually get it onto the website.
But I will be back blogging more regularly in the near future I promise. In the meantime I can just about fit 140 characters into my crazy days, so if you’re not already do feel free to follow me on Twitter – @simonwakeman.
