More interesting stuff on the web

Here’s some more interesting content I’ve found on the web recently:

  • MMA study finds increase in mobile marketing receptiveness – The Mobile Marketing Association annual study finds increase in mobile marketing receptiveness and Adoption Global Study. It also provides insight into consumer attitude and usage for Mobile Marketing in selected markets World-wide
  • Survey: Youth Are Willing Companions to Online Advertisers – A new study shows that many young adults not only buy brands but also talk about them and add brand content to their instant messenger services, Web homepages and social networking sites.
  • Age before beauty: Look before you leap into social media – Despite the many industry voices that herald the importance of social and multi-media content in e-mail marketing, only 12 per cent of UK consumers claim they would be more likely to respond to messages linked to video, micro-sites and social networking sites such as Facebook and YouTube.
  • If RSS Is Niche Media, Why Use It? – Really Simple Syndication (RSS), which lets consumers subscribe to automatically updated content, is not exactly the most popular digital marketing tactic in use today.
