Twitter and website tweaks

Twitter and website tweaks

I’ve spent the past couple of weeks doing some minor tweaks to www.simonwakeman.com.
The site design hasn’t really changed since early 2007 when I last did a full redesign. The new version has more content, particularly in the sidebars, as well as improved navigation throughout.
The homepage has also been redesigned to allow space for client testimonials as well as updates from my Twitter account.
I’ve been a bit hit and miss in my use of Twitter so far, struggling to keep track of other people and post anything interesting and relevant myself. However now it’s displayed on my site I’m committed to using it more regularly, particularly as already I’m finding the small time investment useful through learning new information fast and keeping in touch with people.
The key to my new found commitment to Twitter is the Twitbin plug-in for Firefox. Having Twitter in my Firefox sidebar seems to be a good way of fitting it into how I use the web from day-to-day.
So, if I’m not already following you on Twitter, I’m here if you want to link up.
Any feedback/bugs on the site tweaks gratefully appreciated….
