I run my website and blog using WordPress – it’s a great content management system as it’s easy to use, extremely versatile and has an unbeatable price.
The latest version – WordPress 2.0.5 – has been around for about a month now, and I’ve finally found the time to upgrade my installation.
Having taken a full local back-up of all my files, the WordPress upgrade was as simple as uploading a set of new WordPress files by FTP and running through a database upgrade wizard.
All very straightforward and the site was only down for a matter of seconds. I’ve tested the site and everything seems to be working fine, but do let me know if you spot any glitches.
Upgraded to WordPress 2.0.5
