# Introducing Technorati tags to Textpattern

## Introducing Technorati tags to Textpattern

Figured it was about time I got with the tempo and started using [Technorati tags](http://www.technorati.com/help/tags.html) on my posts.  
My site already runs Textpattern, so introducing the tags wasn’t too tricky. Here’s the lowdown:  
1\. Use the keywords field in Textpattern to enter the tags  
2\. Use the [ajw\_technorati\_tags plug-in](http://compooter.org/article/97/textpattern-plugin-ajw-technorati-tags/) to get the tags to appear on the site  
3\. Use a [Textpattern hack](http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?pid=97469#p97469) to get the tags to appear in my RSS/Atom feeds.  
It was a 15 minute job to get this done. Now I’ll have to find out how to make the most of being able to tag my content.
