I’m very open with potential clients about my availability. I have a full-time role that I fit my consultancy work around. That means I’m not available for client meetings at short notice and find it easier to talk with clients on the phone at the start and end of the day. However my rates reflect this and I use digital tools to make sure clients are kept informed at every stage of a project.
