Channel Marketing Manager - Egg

Hello - welcome to my website.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you find my site useful.

May 2001 to November 2002

Launched in 1999, Egg is the leading European provider of digital financial products and services.

At Egg I gained a wide range of strategic and operational marketing experience in both online and offline business channels. I also gained significant experience of project and programme management, with a track record of successful delivery of new marketing and customer experience propositions.

I joined Egg as Channel Marketing and Development Manager in May 2001. I worked in a team that managed Egg’s digital business channels including the Egg website, email, digital television and wireless services.

One of my key responsibilities was working with Campaign and Product Management teams to develop and implement integrated offline and online marketing campaigns to launch and drive sales of Egg financial products and services.

The role also involved researching, developing and managing the delivery of new marketing business channels, concepts or campaigns that enhanced Egg’s sales capability and developed the overall Egg proposition. This included developing and managing ongoing commercial partnerships with relevant suppliers and partners including Sky Digital and internal teams.

I also developed and managed cross-functional projects to maximise marketing effectiveness and sales conversion for the Egg website and other digital channels.

I made a significant contribution to the development of an Egg business and marketing channel strategy and was involved in the dissemination of this strategy to key senior business stakeholders.
