Thursday, November 22nd, 2007 at 11:41 am

Retailer GAP looks like it’s following Threshers’ example from last year, and is circulating a fairly deep price discount voucher by email and the usual other social channels.

Friday, July 27th, 2007 at 10:53 pm

It’s been almost a fortnight since I last managed to write a blog post - which is pretty much the longest the blog has gone without tending since last Spring.

Monday, January 15th, 2007 at 8:52 pm

In December 2005 I posted on my blog about a bad experience I had with ordering from an internet site called www.ecyan.com. I’ve since had a letter from a representative of one of the companies named in the comments to that post.

Blogging year one - 2006

Sunday, December 31st, 2006 at 9:58 pm

I’ve had my own website at www.simonwakeman.com since 2001. Until January 2006 it featured basic information about me and not a lot else. Over the past twelve months that’s definitely changed.

Happy Christmas wishes!

Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 at 5:47 pm

Five things meme

Friday, December 15th, 2006 at 11:59 am

Bad experience with my new digital SLR

Friday, June 16th, 2006 at 11:04 pm

A fortnight or so ago I got a brand new Nikon D50 digital SLR from the Jessops store in Bluewater. Returning from a week-long holiday today I was gutted to find that of 326 images I’d taken with the new kit, 151 were corrupted and can’t be read.

A presentation by Richard Reed from Innocent

Wednesday, October 19th, 2005 at 9:03 pm

Earlier this evening I went to a talk by Richard Reed, co-founder of “Innocent”:http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk. Launched in 1998 Innocent sell fruit smoothies in the UK.

I go to this kind of business event fairly often, but I have to say Richard Reed was the most engaging, personable and inspiring speaker I’ve seen.
