Account Director – Digital
February 2004 to September 2004

In February 2004 I joined Enterprise IG as Account Director on a short-term contract working on branding and design projects for blue-chip global clients such as Vodafone, BP and Fujitsu.

Enterprise IG, a part of the WPP network, is the world’s leading multidisciplinary brand and marketing design agency employing over 650 people in 24 offices worldwide.

This role was based in the Enterprise IG London office where I was responsible for digital activity and managing senior client relationships with a range of blue-chip corporate clients.

I managed a team of three account managers and seven creative designers. I was responsible for developing new branding and design business opportunities and ensuring client projects are delivered on brief, within budget and profitably.

A key achievement in this role was pitching for and winning a design and marketing communications project for BP International. I then took responsibility for managing the overall BP client relationship. The original project budget was £350k, although I secured additional work from BP due to the strength of the client relationship I developed.

I was also responsible for the development of Enterprise IG’s digital offer for Vodafone – this included development of a brand intranet to aid consistent deployment of the Vodafone brand worldwide and creation of handset iconography and audio branding for all Vodafone handsets.

Other client relationships I managed during my time with Enterprise IG included SABMiller, Nominet, Principality Building Society and Fujitsu.

Enterprise IG rebranded in 2007 to become the Brand Union.
