I am an entrepreneurial communications, marketing and digital leader with experience in the public and private sectors. I have worked in the private and public sectors, with client and agency-side experience. I have also established and managed a communications consultancy business alongside my primary employment.
My strategic experience includes national and regional campaigns using a wide range of communications and marketing techniques. I have also led extensive organisational change to improve performance and generate substantial financial savings.
As an experienced public speaker I have spoken at conferences for organisations including CIPR, CIM, PR Week, LGC, the Guardian, SOCITM and Public Sector Forums. I have trained communication and marketing teams in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand and have written for LGC magazine, Marketing, the MJ, Marketing Week, PR Week and Revolution.
My career to date has been shaped by a passion for all things digital – the development of digital and social has changed communications and marketing significantly during my career and this pace of change is something I have thrived on and continue to enjoy.
In 2013 my work was recognised in the Digital Leaders 50 (DL50) Awards, where I reached 25th place nationally among digital leaders across all industry sectors.
