Online retailers fall down on customer service
Research with 62 UK online retailers shows surprisingly poor customer service, with 45% of retailers not replying to emails and almost half of those that did reply didn’t actually answer the queries put to them.
But 78% of shoppers are happy with online retailers
So says an IMRG report covered by e-consultancy. Web was purchase channel of choice for books, DVDs, CDs online, travel bookings and tickets.
Eight out of ten homes now have digital television
Latest figures from Ofcom also show that Freeview has overtaken Sky as the biggest provider of digital television in the UK.
Shoppers miss out on savings by staying offline
People are more worried (than they should be) about paying with their credit card online, and this leads them to pay higher prices by not shopping around.
