MarketingSherpa Marketing Wisdom for 2007

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 at 9:13 pm

Hello - welcome to my website.

On my blog I write about marketing, public relations and digital communications. To keep up-to-date with my posts you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or sign-up to receive blog posts by email.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you find my site useful.

My feedreader is awash with predictions, tips and hints for surviving 2007 in the world of marketing and public relations.

I don’t have the time to pay much attention to most, but the MarketingSherpa Marketing Wisdom PDF is definitely worth downloading.

It’s a collection of 110 marketing tips produced by MarketingSherpa readers - covering a range of traditional and digital marketing fields. It’s an easy read and is a great way to benefit from other people’s experience in a number of different sectors.

Areas covered in the report include:

  • Email campaign segmentation tests and results
  • Blogging, podcasting and mobile marketing tips
  • Search marketing tactics and offline advertising
  • Web site design and social networking done right

The PDF can be downloaded from the MarketingSherpa website.

Simon Wakeman

I've been on the web since 2001 and have been blogging about marketing and public relations since January 2006.

I'm currently Head of Marketing at Medway Council as well as a freelance marketing and PR consultant.

The content and opinions expressed on this website are not endorsed by nor reflect the views of any company or organisation I work with.

…I was very impressed with the forward thinking and attention to detail Simon displayed…he thinks projects through carefully but quickly and has a good rapport with a wide range of people, from senior politicians and officers through to colleagues and his own staff. Malcolm Triggs, Go4 Marketing and Public Relations

Simon is a pleasure to work with and is someone who consistently provides professional marketing advice and solutions. Nick Tatt, Tinderhouse
