Stumbled across an interesting post this morning about web 2.0 websites in the UK on the Read/Write Web site. I certainly learnt about some new sites I wasn’t aware of, and saw some that I did know about.

It was particularly interesting to see that behind at least two of the ventures listed were execs from Egg, where I worked for a few years.

It suggests to me that many of the pioneers of the web revolution first time around are still working in the space. They clearly understand the dynamics of how social media / web 2.0 work, and more importantly believe that they can create a viable business from social media.

Keeping fit

In my spare time I like to run and cycle. I track my runs and bike rides using the superb RunningAHEAD website:
