		<description>Paul - thanks for the comment. We completed the ride by about 5pm - it was really hot so plenty of water stops, plus some serious bike congestion at some points on the route.

There&#039;s a huge hill up to Ditchling Beacon just outside Brighton, then a wonderful downhill stretch into Brighton where I managed to hit 40mph on my mountain bike!

I&#039;ve entered again this year for an 8am start time. I&#039;ve been doing around 20miles each week on the bike since the last ride so should be in better shape than last year.
